ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Identifying new markets and business opportunities and arranging meetings with potential customers 2. Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets 3. Organizing sales visits 4. Demonstrating and presenting products 5. Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to create sales opportunities 6. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails 7. Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries 8. Gathering market and customer information 9. Answering sales enquiries 10. Submittals and samples submissions to customers 11. Gaining a clear understanding of customers' requirements 12. Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process 13. Making accurate, cost calculations and providing customers with quotations as per company pricing policy 14. Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with clients 15. Negotiating contracts and packages 16. Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy 17. Checking the quantities of goods in stock to respond for sales enquiry or delivery time commitments. 18. Followup with clients for bills receivables 19. Handle complaints or objections 20. Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets 21. Aiming to achieve annual targets. 22. Feeding future buying trends back to sales manager 23. Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 1. Bachelors Engineering / Commerce degree (engineering degree preferred) 2. Minimum 2 years of experience in technical field 3. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) 4.
